D. Sakova inaugurated the construction of the new NEWAYS plant. 1 000 new jobs will be created in Nová Dubnica

On Thursday, 24th of October, the Minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Denisa Saková, in the presence of the Mayor of Nová Dubnica, Petr Marušinec, attended the opening ceremony of the construction of a new production plant of NEWAYS SLOVAKIA. The construction of the new plant will create more than 1,000 new jobs, which will contribute to the development of the region and the promotion of the technology industry in Slovakia. The plant is scheduled to be completed and start producing components for the medical and automotive industries by September 2025. The investment amounts to EUR 28 million.

The town of Nová Dubnica received a EUR 300,000 grant for infrastructure investments at the 2013 Cabinet meeting. This financial contribution created the basis for the future development of industrial capacities in the region.

"This project is not only the result of successful cooperation between Nová Dubnica and NEWAYS, but also a clear proof of how strategic support and infrastructure investments contribute to industrial development and job creation," said Minister Saková.

NEWAYS SLOVAKIA is one of the nine largest electrical engineering companies in Slovakia and has long been a leader in terms of productivity and the technological sophistication of its products. It produces high-end cable assemblies for customers such as ASML, Philips Healthcare, Thermo Fisher and Saab. Key products include lithography equipment for microchip production, charging modules for electric vehicles and advanced microscopy equipment.
