The Slovak automotive industry, employing around 128,000 people and contributing 10% to Slovakia’s GDP, is undergoing the largest transformation in its history, further influenced by the current geopolitical situation. The government approved a series of measures to ensure the competitiveness of the sector, which forms the backbone of the Slovak economy.
